Kinoko Spaces is a Singapore-based interior design consultancy focused on creating thoughtful, lifestyle-driven homes.

We believe great design begins with understanding how people live. By considering the unique routines, relationships, and needs within every household, we create spaces that balance aesthetics, functionality, and everyday comfort. With specialised expertise in pet-integrated living, we design homes that work seamlessly for both people and their animal companions.

Meet the Founder

The Kinoko Approach: Design Rooted in Understanding

At Kinoko Spaces, we believe great design begins with understanding how people truly live.

While our journey started with a desire to create better homes for pet owners, our approach extends far beyond pets. Every household is unique, shaped by its routines, relationships, habits, and evolving needs. Whether we're designing for growing families, multi-generational households, pet owners, or individuals navigating new life stages, we begin by understanding the people who will call the space home.

This human-centred approach allows us to create interiors that feel intuitive, purposeful, and deeply personal. We pay close attention to the small details that influence everyday living —how spaces are used, how movement flows through a home, and how design can quietly support well-being without compromising beauty.

For pet-focused projects, we also collaborate with animal behaviourist consultants to ensure that our solutions support both animal welfare and human comfort. The goal is never to design for one inhabitant at the expense of another, but to create environments where everyone can thrive together.

Join Kinoko’s Growing Team

We’re building a small, collaborative team of designers who want the freedom to work independently while still having people to share ideas with, solve problems with, and grow alongside.

Kinoko Spaces focuses on thoughtful, pet-integrated interiors—not simply adding pet features after the design is done, but considering movement, behavior, safety, materials, and everyday routines from the beginning.

We’re looking to connect with interior designers who are curious, practical, and open to working differently. You don’t need to be a pet-design expert. What matters is strong design thinking, attention to detail, and a willingness to understand how people and pets actually use a space.

As part of our growing studio, you’ll be able to contribute ideas, collaborate on projects, and be part of a team that checks in, shares knowledge, and supports one another—while helping us develop a more thoughtful approach to pet-friendly living in Singapore.
